    Lady on the Lake Cottages, owned by Johnny and Christine, exceeded every expectation. The cottages are brand new, with modern, thoughtfully designed interiors - not a detail missed. Everything feels luxurious, comfortable, and perfectly curated. The landscaping is immaculate, and the property is ideally situated right on the lake, with private dock access that makes enjoying the water effortless. Just a short walk brings you to the village restaurants and shops - the location couldn't be better.

    What an amazing stay in Essex! The unit and surrounding gardens were so lovely. We enjoyed the very short walk to the town's few shops and restaurants as well as watching the ferry come in. The dock is right outside and offers easy swimming access! Messages were very promptly returned, and they arranged for us to use the onsite laundry, which was a huge help. The interior decorations were so beautiful! We can't recommend this spot highly enough!

    This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Sitting on the porch swing and watching the ferries come in and out was so relaxing, after a long day of bike riding on the Empire Trail. The inside was lovely too - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, with everything we needed - comfortable bed, great shower, plenty of coffee, and nice sitting area. It was just perfect!! Couldn't recommend it any more highly.
